Officials of the Airport Security Police (PSA) in Salta, represented by the United PSA Officials Union (UOSP), have filed a formal complaint against Inspector Daniela Maribel Gómez, who currently serves as unit chief at Salta Airport. The officers warn that if immediate action is not taken, the authorities will be complicit in what is happening in the PSA of Salta.
The complaint was filed with the Ministry of National Security on March 6 (File No. 11293-2025) and includes accusations of institutional violence, workplace harassment, abuse of authority, and misuse of state assets. The complainants claim that the situation in the unit worsened after an anonymous complaint against Gómez, which triggered a pattern of persecution and harassment, especially towards an experienced officer whom Gómez labeled as "conflictive."
According to internal testimonies, Gómez expressed her intention to pressure everyone until she identified the anonymous complainant, which led to reprisals. A specific case is mentioned where an officer was penalized after complying with a schedule authorized by a superior. Additionally, Gómez is accused of using the airport's video surveillance system to spy on agents and punish them for minor infractions.
The affected individuals also report that Gómez ordered the destruction of personal property purchased by the officers to improve their working conditions, such as fans, water dispensers, chairs, sofas, and microwaves. The arbitrary management of the internal regime and the discretionary sanctions imposed by the inspector are highlighted.
In light of this situation, the officers request the intervention of the Ministry of National Security and the authorities of the PSA. They assert that Gómez arrived early to work to review recordings in search of reasons to sanction her staff. The complainants describe a climate of abuse of power, psychological and institutional violence that, according to them, can only end in tragedy or the forced resignation of those suffering from harassment. It is essential to urgently stop these practices to guarantee a safe and respectful working environment in the PSA of Salta.
