In Salta province, a driver under the influence of alcohol was charged with hitting a man and a minor and attempting to flee. According to the Argentine News Agency (NA), citing information from the Public Prosecutor's Office (MPF), the incident occurred this Monday in the 20 de Junio neighborhood, where the suspect struck the victims, who were injured. The motorist tried to escape, but police managed to locate him and carry out his arrest. The result of the breathalyzer test was positive. During the hearing, he refused to answer questions from the Prosecutor's Office. The head of the 4th Criminal Prosecutor's Office, Facundo Ruiz de los Llanos, charged him with the crime of minor injuries. In turn, the prosecutor requested that the driver remain in custody, and the Guarantees Court must resolve this situation.
