A 34-year-old man was stabbed to death on Sunday in the Santo Domingo neighborhood in the city of Salta, and the Police have detained an accused. According to information provided by the official website of the local Public Prosecutor's Office and accessed by the Argentine News Agency, the victim was found in a public place with stab wounds, for which he was taken to the San Bernardo hospital, where his death was confirmed. The body was transferred to the Forensic Tanatology Service of the CIF for the relevant autopsy, while Criminalistics personnel carried out the necessary analysis at the scene. Meanwhile, members of the UGAP Investigation Unit identified the alleged murderer, who went to the police station voluntarily and was arrested. The prosecutor for criminal case 1 of the Unit for Serious Attacks on Persons, Santiago López Soto, who is handling the case, stated that this Tuesday an accusatory hearing will be held against the implicated.
