The federal court made a decision in favor of those who need to travel through northern Santa Fe via national route 11. This measure particularly benefits freight carriers, who were forced to seek alternative routes due to severe problems on the roadway, causing them significant economic losses.
The federal judge of Reconquista, Aldo Alurralde, issued a crucial ruling ordering National Roads to promptly finish the repairs of a stretch of 177 kilometers of the road, from the intersection with provincial route 39 in Gobernador Crespo to the junction with provincial route 31 in Avellaneda. This news was published by the newspaper La Nación.
Former Vice President of Argentina, Julio Cobos, took the opportunity to criticize the government's road policy, particularly the lack of investment in the construction and maintenance of the country's roads. Cobos emphasized that this situation endangers the lives of those traveling on the highways and also affects product prices by increasing transportation costs.
In his statements, Cobos mentioned: “The justice intervenes so that the national government reevaluates its inexplicable road policy, the abandonment of the construction and maintenance of the roads in our country. It puts the lives of those who travel at risk and impacts the prices of the products we consume due to increased transportation costs. If they don't see it from the road safety perspective, at least do it from the economic policy perspective: greater competitiveness by lowering logistic costs.”
This pronouncement by Cobos occurred in the context of the judicial resolution regarding the repair of national route 11 and was shared through his social networks.
