A 20-year-old man was arrested by federal agents from the Homicide Division in the south of Buenos Aires province. He is charged with 'Aggravated Homicide - Aggravated Use of Weapons - Damage - Coercive Threats - Violation of Domicile. All Concurrently.' The crime he is accused of occurred in February 2023 when, after a dispute over the division of stolen goods, the young man was injured by three gunshots after being attacked by the victim and his relatives.
The detained individual, along with his family group, planned a revenge attack, which resulted in the murder of a 27-year-old man in the Quilmes district. During the investigation, the suspect's accomplices were arrested, leaving him as a fugitive. The Functional Instruction and Trial Unit No. 3 of the Quilmes Judicial Department, under the command of Dr. MartÃn D. Conde, issued the arrest warrant.
Federal agents located the fugitive hiding in his partner's home, located in 'Villa IAPI' of Quilmes. An operation was set up for his arrest nearby, finally achieving it at the intersection of Coronel Lynch and Comandante Lucena streets. Despite attempting to escape, he was captured. Due to the hostility of the neighborhood residents, the operation was moved to a location 700 meters away, where two other brigades from the unit joined.
