Three Men Arrested in Posadas for Drug Trafficking

A police operation in Posadas resulted in the arrest of three men and the seizure of nearly a kilogram of cocaine. The total value of the confiscated items is estimated at 20 million pesos.


Three Men Arrested in Posadas for Drug Trafficking

Three men were arrested during an operation carried out in the western area of Posadas, during which 990 grams of cocaine and other items linked to property crimes were also seized.

The operation was led by the Mini Brigade of Investigations of the Sixth Police Station. At the scene, and by order of the on-duty Federal Court, Danilo Benjamin S. (29), Lucas Ezequiel S. (32), and Aldo Alberto S. (60) were detained. They have been charged with violating National Law No. 23.737 on Narcotics.

During the inspection, officers seized a Motomel Blitz 110 cc motorcycle reported stolen, a Top Mega Thor bicycle, five mobile phones, two precision scales, and a DVR memory card.

Additionally, several packages with suspicious substances were found. Following a preliminary test by personnel from the Dangerous Drugs Directorate, they tested positive for cocaine hydrochloride, totaling 991 grams, and two for cannabis sativa, with an estimated total value of 20 million pesos.

Finally, the detainees and the seized items were transferred and held at the police station, pending a judicial decision.
