A 34-year-old man, who was a fugitive from justice due to an outstanding arrest warrant against him, was arrested in the province of Misiones for alleged sexual abuse. The Fifth Instruction Court of the First Circumscription of Leandro N. Alem had ordered the search for the suspect earlier this month.
The individual, a resident of the city of Posadas and employed as a long-distance bus driver for a transportation company, was located by officers from the Triple Frontier Division of the Federal Police. After conducting fieldwork and cyber patrols, an operation was carried out near the bus terminal where the suspect was supposed to report for work.
The man was apprehended by authorities on public roads, specifically on Avenida Quaranta at 3800. During the arrest, his vehicle was searched, and his mobile phone and other relevant items for the ongoing investigation were seized.
The individual, whose arrest warrant dates back to May 26, 2020, has been charged with the crime of sexual abuse. He is currently facing the judicial process related to these charges against him.
