The Misiones Police are investigating the discovery of a body in an advanced state of decomposition, which occurred this Thursday afternoon in a home located in Posadas. Police sources revealed to Noticias Argentinas that the corpse was found in a house located on 133-A Street, in the jurisdiction of the Ninth Police Station, dependent of Regional Unit X. The procedure began around 7:00 PM, after a neighbor alerted the officers to a strong odor coming from inside the property and the presence of insects. With a judicial warrant, the police entered the home and confirmed the presence of a body in an advanced state of decomposition. According to initial investigations, it could be a man around 50 years old, the owner of the house. The case has been handed over to the on-duty Instruction Court, the police doctor, and personnel from the Criminalistics Division, who are carrying out the corresponding examinations to determine the cause of death. The residence remains secured under judicial measures while the necessary procedures are carried out.
