Buenos Aires, January 15 (NA) – Little Bastian Jerez, the child who was seriously injured after the UTV in which he was traveling with his family in Pinamar collided with a pickup truck, was operated on for a third time to close his abdomen, according to the Argentine News Agency. The latest medical bulletin issued by the Pinamar Municipal Hospital highlights that this Thursday morning, the 8-year-old child was taken back to the operating room: "The scheduled procedure to remove the hepatic packing and perform the abdominal closure will be carried out." A piece of good news received by Bastian's family is that, as of this Wednesday, "he does not need medication to maintain his blood pressure." For now, he remains under constant monitoring by the Intensive Care team at the medical center. Bettiana, the boy's grandmother, spoke with NA and commented that her grandson "had a stable night" and they are awaiting news.
