The injuries, resulting from the trauma, were confirmed after a magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) of the brain and cervical spine. In this regard, neurosurgery, neurology, and intensive care teams indicated that cervical immobilization remains in place. During the morning of this Thursday, authorities at the Provincial Maternal and Infant Hospital 'Victorio Tetamanti' stated that the minor continues to receive 'ventilatory respiratory assistance via tracheostomy to ensure a stable airway.' Bastián remains in the intensive care unit with a guarded prognosis, according to data released by the Buenos Aires Provincial Ministry of Health.
