Buenos Aires, January 24 (NA) – Bastián Jerez, the 8-year-old boy who remains hospitalized following the accident between a UTV and a pickup truck in the coastal city of Pinamar, underwent his sixth surgery, as well as a tracheotomy. The medical report released by the Buenos Aires provincial Ministry of Health, accessed by the Argentine News Agency, emphasized that the minor is in “stable” condition. This is the sixth surgical procedure the victim has undergone, which included cervical fixation and a tracheotomy. Bastián continues to be under strict medical control in the intensive care unit of the 'Victorio Tetamanti' Maternal and Child Hospital.

Meanwhile, this week, inspections were carried out on the vehicles involved in the accident on the 'border' of Pinamar.
