An impressive fire in a supermarket located on Avenida Bunge, the main street of Pinamar, caused a great commotion among residents and tourists enjoying the sunset on the beach today.
The fire started around 7 PM in the establishment located at the intersection of Bunge and Avenida de las Ballenas, with numerous customers present, and it is believed to have originated due to a failure in an elevator. Local firefighters and reinforcements from nearby towns arrived quickly at the scene to control the flames.
In this context, two people were reported injured, and a firefighter is being attended to by an ambulance from SAME. As a safety measure, all people in the supermarket were evacuated, and nearby areas were cleared to avoid any additional risk.
