Nahir Galarza's entourage has recently warned about the appearance of fake social media accounts using her name and AI-generated images for deceptive purposes, including scam attempts. According to the Argentine News Agency, sources close to the 27-year-old woman reported that these fraudulent profiles spread manipulated photos—such as a viral image of her holding an iPhone—to request money transfers from unsuspecting users. From her inner circle, they urged people not to interact with these accounts or send funds, clarifying that Galarza is housed at the Women's Penitentiary Unit No. 6 in Paraná with no access to cell phones or social networks. Her last real connection was in 2019, and in 2024, the justice system rejected a request for her to have a mobile device. In addition to financial scams, profiles with suggestive content inviting fake romantic relationships have been detected. Galarza, who is serving a sentence for the murder of Fernando Pastorizzo, spends her days studying Social Psychology and attending workshops, with a possible release date not expected until 2052.
