Argentina Discusses Federalism and Economic Development

Today, Rodjilio Frijerio announced that the province of Entre-Rios once again sets the ideals of freedom and federalism at the center of production development. He made this statement during the opening of the event "Path to a Federal Future" in Paraná, organized by the Council of Federal Investments (CFI) and the provincial government. The meeting gathered governors, ministers, entrepreneurs, scholars, and representatives of the private sector to discuss development strategies with a focus on territorial strengthening.

"Here, the ideals of freedom were founded as the basis of national organization. And if the Nation does not call, we will have to do this ourselves. Let’s stop diverging and agree on the tax policy that stimulates production," Frigiero emphasized.

The event was attended by governors Aksel Kichilov (Buenos Aires), Maximiliano Pullaro (Santa Fe), Serhio Ziliotto (La Pampa), Raúl Jalil (Catamarca), and Ignacio Torres (Chubut), as well as legislators, judicial officials, and representatives from the agricultural, industrial, tourism, academic, and trade union sectors.

Frigiero continued, insisting on the need for "real federalism, which manifests itself in concrete actions: in construction, lending for SMEs, ensuring connectivity, technical training and support for those engaged in entrepreneurship and production."

The event took place at the Provincial Convention Center in Paraná and was focused on three main areas: technological innovation development, production financing, and territorial development policies.

General Secretary of CFI Ignacio Lamote expressed gratitude to Frigiero for organizing the event and noted the breadth of political support: "Today's necessity should shift towards long-term planning, distanced from the noise of the surrounding environment, more relevant than ever."

Frigiero called for an agreement among all jurisdictions to reduce fiscal pressure on the production sector: "The time has come for a meeting of all governors, federal authorities, and even mayors. Therefore, this event holds particular value for us, not only symbolically but personally," he stated.

In his speech, the head of Entre-Rios emphasized the need for a cultural change that restores historical heritage as a driving force for progress: "We must strive to once again be the main heroes."
