The trial will begin on February 24 and is a case that also has a file in the province of Santa Fe. The Oral Federal Court of Paraná, presided over by judges Noemí Berros, Mariela Rojas, and José María Escobar Cello - the latter from Santa Fe - confirmed that the oral and public trial against Airaldi, his partner, and other accused will begin on February 24 and end in April. The charge for which the 14 defendants are being tried is for having operated a drug trafficking organization between June 2019 and March 2024 in the cities of Diamante and Paraná. The case details, according to information provided by the media ElOnce, to which the Argentine News Agency had access, that Airaldi is accused of being the leader, supplier, and financier of said organization. The Public Prosecutor's Office highlights that the former head of the Diamante Rural Society distributed tasks, managed human and material resources, and issued orders. Another point mentioned is that he had financial and logistical means for the acquisition, transportation, distribution, and sale of drugs. This last case began in August 2022 in Santa Fe, but it is known that since 2019, the justice system in Paraná had been following it, so it involves two files, which were unified due to their connection. The accused are: Airaldi, his partner Jimena Burne, Cristian Sánchez, Sebastián Armocida, Joel Schonfeld, Gonzalo Olivero, Juan Erbes and Marino Martínez, María Soledad Touzet, Emanuel Cuello, José Godoy, Armando Blacaza, Roberto Coronel and Carlos Schumacher.
