Buenos Aires, Dec. 8 (NA) – A security camera captured the moment when City Police officer Carlos Peloso killed young Juan Manuel De Vitto during an altercation in the Buenos Aires town of Morón, after the officer had run over a relative of the victim hours earlier.
The incident, which occurred this past weekend, has caused a significant stir due to the sequence of events that began with Peloso causing an accident by hitting José Luis Zárate, who is hospitalized in serious condition.
The officer fled the scene and later turned himself in at the police station after being on the run for several hours. Ten blocks away, they managed to intercept him, and at that moment, Peloso drew his service weapon, fired several shots, and instantly killed Juan Manuel.
For the third time, the former officer attempted to flee, but he was detained minutes later after a chase that ended in the central area of Morón.
