Morón and Fujian Strengthen Trade Ties

The mayor of Morón, Lucas Ghi, received a delegation from the Department of Trade of China's Fujian province to advance trade and cooperation agreements, focusing on investments and business articulation. According to the Argentine News Agency, the meeting highlighted concrete opportunities, including the possible installation of a diaper factory that would be developed in two stages and, in a first phase, projects between 100 and 150 direct jobs. The creation of a bonded warehouse oriented towards e-commerce and the possibility of exporting products made in the district to various markets were also evaluated, as part of a strategy to boost local production. The municipality presented the advantages of the industrial park (infrastructure, services, logistics, accessibility, and security) to facilitate business establishment, with the goal of adding employment and economic movement. Ghi affirmed that the priority is local job generation and also mentioned conversations about equipment of interest for hospitals and primary care centers.
