Sarmiento Train Service Runs on Temporary Platform at Morón Station

The Sarmiento train service began operating this Sunday with a provisional platform in Morón, as part of a comprehensive station renovation project. According to the official schedule, this work will extend for approximately one year in each direction. The alternative platform was set up between Berutti and Azcuénaga streets to maintain passenger flow while modernization tasks advance. Local authorities noted that the change affects the immediate urban environment and requires traffic coordination during peak hours. In parallel, the progress of the work is expected to enable stages to normalize access and internal circulation while maintaining service operation. The plan includes operational adjustments and reinforced signage to organize pedestrian movement to the trains. According to the Argentine News Agency, Morón is a key station on the line, handling around 35,000 passengers per day and ranking among the highest-volume stations in the system.
