An organization that illegally traded vehicles, parts, and auto parts was dismantled in the Buenos Aires locality of Morón, during which weapons were seized and eight people were arrested. According to police sources informed the Argentine News Agency, the operation took place within the framework of six raids in the aforementioned Buenos Aires municipality, one of which was home to personnel from the Buenos Aires City Police. In the procedures, auto parts were found, some of them in violation for being unauthorized parts for commercialization and/or outside the current applicable regulations, in addition to a large quantity of spare parts and firearms. Subsequently, eight people aged between 28 and 75 were apprehended, and the aforementioned items and 80 firearms with their respective ammunition were seized. Among the seized items were radiators, shock absorbers, wheels, seats, gasoline tanks, elastic parts, starters, alternators, rifle magazines, and cables. Through a painstaking investigation, it was possible to identify, through social networks, different public profiles related to the illegal commercialization of vehicles, parts, and auto parts. Additionally, a data cross-check, controlled and supervised purchases, location of storage addresses and meeting points for the acquisition of the parts were carried out. Thus, it was possible to establish the existence of a structured criminal organization with consolidated operational logistics, dedicated to the illegal commercialization of vehicle parts and auto parts.

A criminal organization involved in the illegal trade of vehicles and spare parts was dismantled in Morón, Buenos Aires. Police seized weapons and arrested eight individuals, confiscating 80 firearms during the operation.
