Capture of Fugitive in Moreno Station

One of the escapees from Alcaidía 9 in Liniers, who had fled on December 23, was captured at the Moreno station of the Sarmiento Railway and placed at the disposal of Justice. This is Roger Adaro Davis, sentenced for armed robbery by the Oral Criminal and Correctional Court 3, who was serving his detention at that police station in the city.

Davis's capture was possible thanks to a City Police officer who recognized the fugitive by his face and tattoos while boarding the train, immediately alerting the Federal Police personnel with jurisdiction in that area. After the intervention, the detainee was transferred to the Sarmiento Railway Police Station at the Once terminal, thus being put at the disposal of the corresponding Court.

The officer, who had worked in the jurisdiction of the Alcaidía from where Davis escaped, played a crucial role in the recapture of the fugitive. Additionally, the Southern Alcaidías Division of the City Police also attended to coordinate actions following the reapprehension of the fugitive.

With this detention, 11 escapees have now been recaptured and returned to the custody of the authorities, while efforts continue to find the other six subjects who remain at large since the mass escape last December.
