The Municipality of Moreno reported on the progress of a road project being carried out in conjunction with the Province for the repaving and widening of Provincial Route No. 24, with a focus on improving connectivity and road safety within the district and the region. According to the Argentine News Agency, the project includes dedicated bike lanes, bus turnouts, and patching work using about 600 tons of asphalt mixture produced in Moreno. It also involves hydraulic interventions, new lighting, traffic lights, and comprehensive signage and pavement markings to regulate traffic. The section under construction runs from the roundabout of Routes 24 and 25 towards General RodrÃguez, while the section connecting that roundabout to Derqui has already been completed. The goal is to consolidate a corridor that improves communication from the highway to the José C. Paz district.
