The municipality of Moreno has reopened the Municipal Market Cuartel V following a comprehensive renovation project aimed at strengthening the local economy and expanding the range of affordable products. The inauguration ceremony, held at the premises located at Derqui 6238 (Anderson neighborhood), was led by Mayor Mariel Fernández, along with Minister of the Province of Buenos Aires Javier RodrÃguez and authorities from IMDEL, with the goal of promoting local consumption. According to the Argentine News Agency, the renovations included the redesign and conditioning of the market, which now features eight commercial premises, 60 stalls, as well as a parking area and a play area for families. During the inauguration, the local head of government emphasized the focus on residents' wallets 'in this difficult economic context' and highlighted the goal of bringing quality products at affordable prices. The premises offer butchery, poultry, dairy products, pasta and cold cuts, bakery, greengrocery, and other goods; at the fair, there are textile products, plants, and household items from local workers. The Municipality reported that the market now includes benefits such as the 'Buy Cheap' program and a 40% discount with Cuenta DNI at participating stores, and specified the hours: Monday to Saturday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sundays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
