
A large group of friends, family, and colleagues of Lucas Aguilar, the young delivery man killed after intervening in defense of a street vendor, gathered in front of the municipality of Moreno in Buenos Aires on Friday. During the demonstration, some participants attempted to set fire to a police car parked at the site, while others threw blunt objects at the municipal building located at Eduardo Asconape Street 51.
The situation became tenser when police officers began to advance on the protesters, resulting in the detention of several of them. In total, approximately fifteen people were arrested and quickly taken through a side door of the municipality.
The disturbances began around noon, where clashes were recorded that included the throwing of stones and the use of rubber bullets by security forces. These incidents reflect the growing social outrage over the violence that claimed the life of Lucas Aguilar, a case that has shocked the local community.
