In the Argentine province of Mendoza, a man was arrested accused of producing material of child sexual abuse (CSAM), raping and filming a 13-year-old minor. The local Public Prosecutor's Office (MPF) informed the Argentine News Agency that the case was reported by Google and the 24/7 Prosecutor's Network following an alert issued from the United States. In this context, the Unit for Crimes against Sexual Integrity, led by Flavio D'Amore, ordered an operation to find the alleged perpetrator, who resides in the department of Luján de Cuyo. During the operation, he was arrested and videos of child pornography were seized. The alleged perpetrator is being held in the Provincial Penitentiary, while authorities have taken the necessary measures to protect the victim.
The suspect was charged with the aggravated production of child sexual abuse material and/or exploitation of minors, as the victim was a 13-year-old minor (two counts), simple possession of child sexual abuse material due to cohabiting with a minor under 18 (one count), and seriously outrageous sexual abuse due to the circumstances of the act, aggravated by cohabiting with a minor under 18 (one count), all in a real concurrence.
