
The Federal Court of Goya will hold a hearing this Friday to address the appeals against the preventive detentions issued for the seven defendants in the alleged abduction and concealment of Loan Peña, a five-year-old boy who has been missing since June 13.
Sources from the case informed that the hearing is scheduled for 9 in the morning. During it, the appeal from the plaintiff regarding the house arrest being served by Mónica del Carmen Millapi will also be debated.
Judge Cristina Pozzer Penzo has processed María Victoria Caillava, Carlos Pérez, Daniel "Fierrito" Ramírez, Antonio Benítez, Walter Maciel, Laudelina Peña, and Millapi with preventive detention. This measure was taken considering them co-authors materially criminally responsible for the abduction of a minor under 10 years old and threats in real competition concerning Caillava and Maciel.
Maciel, in addition, was identified as materially criminally responsible for the crime of alleged abduction and concealment of a minor under 10 years old, in ideal competition with concealment due to real favoring. He is also charged with special disqualification.
Meanwhile, Millapi is serving the benefit of house arrest and is at her home in the province of Neuquén with an electronic bracelet.
