Buenos Aires, November 17 (NA) – This Monday, expert analyses will be carried out to determine how the fire started at the Spegazzini Industrial Polygon, located in Ezeiza. The fire began on Friday night, and some hotspots are still active. Authorities have stated they will wait for them to die out on their own. The cause is under investigation by prosecutor Florencia Belloc, head of UFI 1 Ezeiza, who ordered the judicial expertise to be conducted this Monday morning, highlighting that there is no longer any risk in the area, according to the Argentine News Agency (NA) based on information from Infobae. In recent hours, insurance companies from various factories have arrived to assess the damage. Million-dollar losses are estimated. The goal is to find out if the fire was intentional or caused by a defect, in order to initiate a criminal case. The initial focus is believed to have been at the company Logischem, which caused damage to other industries in the area, such as Iron Mountain, Larroca Minera, Almacén de Frío, Aditivos Alimentarios, and Sinteplast.
