The Municipality of Ezeiza has implemented a new metered parking system in the district's center under the 'Ezeiza Medido' scheme, with digital management through an app. As an incentive for using the digital tool, the municipality made the first hour free for those who use the app (once per day). It also clarified that residents within the area can park for free in the vehicle access of their home, but must pay if they occupy a marked spot outside that front. The system is completed with a platform associated with the service for self-management of parking start and end, recharges, and transaction history, according to the system's website. This measure aims to regulate traffic and promote vehicle rotation in high-demand commercial areas. According to Noticias Argentinas, the first stage covers the area delimited by Presidente Perón, French, Arturo Illia, and Nicolás Avellaneda streets (up to 12 de Octubre). The system operates Monday to Friday from 8 AM to 6 PM, and Saturdays from 8 AM to 1 PM, while Sundays and holidays remain free of charge. The established rate is $700 per hour.
