Buenos Aires, November 14, 2025 (NA) -- The Municipality of Cañuelas issued a statement on Friday evening informing that it has activated the necessary Health and Civil Defense protocols to assist with the emergency caused by the "significant explosions" at the Spegazzini Industrial Park, Ezeiza.
According to Argentine News, the Hospital Cuenca Alta Néstor Kirchner "activated the disaster contingency plan" and "is ready to intervene if necessary". Likewise, the Marzetti Hospital and local health units are also on alert.

The municipality reported that the Volunteer Firefighters of Cañuelas have already provided resources to help control the fire at the agrochemical plant. Additionally, the local Civil Defense area "is in contact with the Ezeiza Civil Defense" to offer collaboration.
Finally, the statement requests the public to inform themselves through official channels and, crucially, asks that "if you are in areas where smoke is perceived, protect yourself with masks".
