A video obtained by Noticias Argentinas shows the desperate struggle of firefighters against the uncontrollable fire in the Ezeiza Industrial Park. The images indicate the presence of "20 fire crews". The video is accompanied by audio from one of the firefighters on the front line detailing the combustible material. According to what Noticias Argentinas learned, in the video's audio, a firefighter informs of the severity of the situation: "It's an entire warehouse of raw plastic material and part of a diesel tank". The firefighter adds that there are "two more warehouses also loaded with plastic" and details that they are "working on four attack lines, trying to cut off" the advance of the flames. The blaze, which started with an explosion at an agrochemical plant, has already left at least 15 people with minor injuries. The authorities of Ezeiza, Esteban Echeverría, La Matanza, and Cañuelas issued alerts asking residents to stay in their homes with doors and windows closed due to the emission of toxic gases.
