A 22-year-old man was brutally beaten to death in the province of Corrientes. His family suspects that the crime could be related to drug-related activities. The body of Rodrigo Roa was found among grasses on Lujambio passage at 100, about 150 meters from the Paraná River. He showed multiple bruises all over his body, and the autopsy has already been performed.
According to sources from the case, the main hypothesis put forward by the relatives points to drug dealing, as they claim that several young people used to consume them in the area where the victim's body was found. The possibility of a debt is being investigated, and in the last few hours, three young men have been arrested: Correa, 26 years old, and two brothers with the last name Aquino, aged 26 and 31. Although the exact motive for the crime is unknown, it is suspected that these three men were with Rodrigo minutes before his death.
The case is being investigated by the Public Prosecutor's Office of Investigations, led by Gustavo Roubineau, in collaboration with personnel from the Criminal Investigations Division. Evidence and relevant elements are being gathered to clarify what happened and determine responsibilities.
