In the province of Corrientes, a woman known as "black widow" was arrested after robbing a man with whom she had arranged an intimate meeting through social media. She is suspected of administering a substance in his drink, leaving him unconscious to steal money and belongings.
The case came to light when the victim reported that during the meeting with the woman he met online, she administered a substance that left him unconscious. Following the report, an investigation was initiated that led to the identification of the suspect. A search warrant executed at a residence on La Rioja Street allowed authorities to locate the woman.
Various relevant items for the case were found in the searched residence, such as clothing, cell phones, vials for medical use, disposable syringes, and different psychotropic medications like Rivotril, Clonazepam, Alprazolam, and Tranquinal Braszolán. The woman was arrested and taken to the police station while investigators look into whether there are more possible victims of the same modus operandi.
