Buenos Aires, December 17 (NA) -- A 29-year-old woman was run over by a car this Wednesday in the heart of the capital of Cordoba province and had to be assisted by an emergency service after the impact. Police sources informed the Argentine News Agency (NA) that the incident occurred at Sarmiento street 300, where an ambulance arrived to assist the victim. The accident occurred when a Fiat Cronos vehicle, for reasons still under investigation, collided with the pedestrian while traveling in the area. The woman received medical attention on site, where her health condition was assessed and she did not need to be transferred to a hospital. As seen in a video, the victim was crossing with the traffic light in her favor, and the vehicle turned left but too wide, failing to see the pedestrian. It was at that moment that the vehicle struck the woman, who fell to the ground as a result of the collision.
