In the Parque Don Bosco neighborhood of the province of Córdoba, a resident had an unexpected surprise while hiring a group of workers to dig a well in order to install a swimming pool at his home. The workday went normally until one of the workers discovered a strange object in the ground, which led the homeowner to take immediate action.
Given the uncertainty of what this object could be, the homeowner decided to contact the local police. Once on site, the officers confirmed that it was a bomb, which required the intervention of the Explosives Department to handle the situation safely. After hard work, the specialists managed to extract the explosive object, identified as an MK76 Air Bomb with a charge still to be determined.
A detailed inspection of the device is now expected to determine its age and verify whether it is still dangerous. The discovery of this bomb in a residential yard has caused concern in the area, but thanks to the swift action of the authorities, the threat was neutralized without any major incidents.
