The family of Catalina Gutiérrez, the 21-year-old young woman who was brutally murdered by Néstor Soto in the city of Córdoba, paid tribute to the victim by placing her name in a plaza in the Inaudi neighborhood. Marcelo Gutiérrez, the victim's father, spoke with the Argentine News Agency and stated that his wife, Eleonora Vollenweider, his other daughter, Lucía, and the mayor, Daniel Passerini, participated in the tribute. During the homage, the father of the deceased played the guitar to the emotion of his loved ones and the neighbors who attended the event, while a tree was planted and a plaque was placed with the inscription: "In memory of Catalina Gutiérrez 7/2/2003 - 17/7/2024". Another commemoration was also installed that reads: "Standard-bearer of healthy friendship, beloved daughter, adored sister, and unconditional friend. Your kindness, your values, your joy, your light, and your dreams invite us to build a more just and love-filled world." "I always have the best memories of Catalina," her father said.
