Two young men have been arrested on suspicion of shooting at a dance academy in the province of Córdoba. The incident occurred a few days ago and sparked a major investigation that included reviewing security camera footage and interviewing witnesses.
The attack took place on Friday, October 24, in the afternoon. A young man on a motorcycle approached the entrance of the establishment, located on the corner of Sagrada Familia and 9 de Julio streets, and fired about 12 shots, then fled with his accomplice.
No one was injured in the incident, but the situation caused alarm in the area, prompting an investigation. In recent hours, significant progress has been made.
The Public Prosecutor's Office and the Córdoba Police reported that on Wednesday, following the directives of the District IV Instruction Prosecution Office, Investigation Brigade UJ22 conducted raids in the Lamadrid neighborhood with positive results.
During the operations, both the material author of the shooting and the person who was riding the motorcycle were arrested. In addition, the motorcycle allegedly used in the attack, several mobile phones, and other items were seized. Further raids are not ruled out to find the weapon used in the attack.
Despite this important arrest, the authorities indicated that the investigation will continue "in order to determine the motivations of this crime and to find out if other people are responsible for participating in it".
