The Buenos Aires legislator Eugenio Casielles, one of the five founders of La Libertad Avanza, announced the creation of a new political space called 'Transformation'. The announcement took place at the Regina Theater in the Chacarita neighborhood and was mainly directed against what he termed the 'caste' in Javier Milei's government.
In his speech, Casielles expressed his decision to distance himself from the official party, which he described as a place full of 'subservients'. He stated that this decision is not due to opportunism, but rather to a firm conviction that it is necessary to seize a historic opportunity.
Casielles emphasized the need for change, arguing that the country cannot continue to be governed by the same people and under the same practices that have led to a significant increase in poverty. He particularly stressed the fact that today, 50% of children lack a guaranteed meal, despite the fact that 50 years ago poverty was only 5%.
In this sense, the Buenos Aires legislator linked figures such as Patricia Bullrich, Daniel Scioli, Federico Sturzenegger, and Luis Caputo with the 'caste' that his party, La Libertad Avanza, sought to eradicate. With this new political space, Casielles aims to offer an alternative to the practices and familiar faces that have dominated the political scene for so long.
