Electoral Reforms and Trade Agreements in Argentina

PRO national deputy, Daiana Fernández Molero, expressed her opinion on electoral reforms, highlighting the importance of approaching them carefully and through debate, rather than rushing them at the end of the legislative period. In this regard, she pointed out that postponing these reforms would be a way to evade the responsibility of fulfilling the green agenda.

Regarding Adorni's statements about political party reforms and the possible elimination of the PASO primaries, Fernández Molero stated that in the current context, Argentina needs to prioritize signing trade agreements and integration in the international sphere, respecting the democratic standards of Western nations. In this sense, she warned that disregarding these fundamental issues would hinder the realization of such agreements.

During her participation in the radio program "No la ven," the deputy mentioned the stance of France, governed by Emmanuel Macron, and its more protectionist approach to trade agreements, which generates certain reluctances to close international deals. She also emphasized the relevance of PASO as a key tool for resolving internal disputes within political parties, stressing the need to maintain them despite criticisms.

Referring to the French president's stance, Fernández Molero highlighted the importance of considering the internal situation of his country before making trade decisions, stating that the elimination of PASO solely for economic reasons would be an erroneous approach. In this regard, she urged Macron to closely observe the situation in France before criticizing the policies of other countries.
