National deputy of the Civic Coalition (CC) Paula Oliveto stated that Mauricio Macri thought he would become the guide of President Javier Milei, but he was wrong. In an interview on Radio Rivadavia, Oliveto expressed her regret over the lack of coherence of the PRO, a party she used to respect, and mentioned conversations with Elisa Carrión in which they recalled difficult moments.
"I think Mauricio (Macri) believed he would be the guide of (President Javier) Milei and he was wrong," Oliveto assured in statements to Radio Rivadavia. The legislator said she was "very hurt" by the PRO, as it was a party she "respected" and "lost coherence". "I called Lilita and we remembered very tough things," said the member of the Lower House.
Oliveto also stated that corruption "is entrenched in Argentina" and recalled that both Kirchnerist governments and that of former President Carlos Menem "left dead people behind." "They change their opinions for power and believe that their voters defend Milei's ideas," Oliveto considered. Additionally, the national deputy said she was moved upon learning of the ruling from the Criminal Cassation Chamber against former president Cristina Kirchner in the Vialidad case.
