
The President of the Nation, Javier Milei, received the French leader, Emmanuel Macron, tonight at the Presidential Palace of Olivos to share a dinner that marks the beginning of the official agenda of the French head of state in Argentina. Macron arrived in our country accompanied by his wife, Brigitte Macron, just before 7 PM and joined the evening at the presidential residence along with the Argentine president and the Secretary General of the Presidency, Karina Milei.
Macron made this visit to Argentina before participating in the G20 Summit that will take place in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, next Monday and Tuesday. After dinner with Milei, the French president's agenda in Argentina will continue the following day from 9 AM at the Church of the Holy Cross, where he will lay a floral tribute in honor of the French nuns murdered during the last military dictatorship.
At 10 AM, Macron will take part in a ceremony in honor of the liberator José de San Martín at the Buenos Aires square named after him. Afterwards, the Argentine president and the French leader will have a formal meeting at 10:30 AM at the Government House for a bilateral meeting in the presidential office.
