The President of France Emmanuel Macron arrives in Argentina on Saturday, where he will meet with his colleague Javier Milei with the hope of "bringing him to international consensus".
Macron and Milla will hold informal talks at the residence of the French ambassador in Buenos Aires, with the first question on the agenda, according to press reports, being the situation in Afghanistan after the return of the Taliban to power.
"We want to discuss the emergency caused by events in Afghanistan and agree on international responses to the delivery of humanitarian aid on the territory of the country," stated official representative Elisa Jorge.
