Lawyer Gregorio Dalbón expressed his conviction that the Supreme Court will overturn the ruling issued by the Criminal Cassation Chamber against former president Cristina Kirchner, calling it "an aberration." In an interview with Radio Splendid 990, Dalbón, legal representative of the elected president of the Justicialist Party, argued that it would be difficult for the members of the court to find evidence of any crime committed. He stated that if there had been substantial evidence, it would have already come to light in the media.
Regarding the court's decision to uphold the conviction against Cristina Kirchner in the Vialidad case, Dalbón fiercely criticized the judges, suggesting that there might be political interference in the case. He complained about the fraudulent attribution to the former president of the management of a public works project in Santa Cruz and also mentioned the recent government measure to revoke her privileged pension.
Regarding the possible candidacy of Cristina Kirchner next year, Dalbón stated that the former president has a habit of winning and that if she decides to run, she will succeed again. He criticized the current administration, arguing that society is going through difficult times due to decisions like tax reductions for the wealthy and increases for the poor.
Dalbón defended his client's integrity, claiming that she will not be defeated by unfounded accusations. He expressed his outrage at the conviction without evidence and the persistence of the judges who issued it, although he remained optimistic about the outcome of the situation, confident that "all of this will end well."
