A 24-hour transportation strike will take place, affecting train, subway, airplane, truck, and ship services. Unions such as La Fraternidad and the Union of Subway Workers confirmed their participation in the measure, supporting the protest against the economic and labor policies of Javier Milei's Government. Omar Maturano, leader of the train union 'La Fraternidad', officialized the adherence to the strike, which will affect both passenger and freight train services.

Commercial and cargo flights will be canceled or limited, impacting passengers and companies that rely on air transport. Similarly, cargo truck and freight transportation services will be paralyzed, as confirmed by Pablo Moyano, leader of the Truckers union. Port activity will also stop, affecting both passenger and cargo transport on Wednesday, October 30.

In contrast, the Automobile Tramway Union (UTA) declared that it will not join the strike on Wednesday, October 30, and announced a labor action for Thursday, October 31. After a meeting with employers, it was decided that the majority of bus lines will operate normally on Wednesday, but not on Thursday, following the declared strike.

UTA confirmed a bus strike for Thursday, October 31, after the mandatory conciliation ended without a satisfactory salary offer. Bus drivers emphasized that they will not allow themselves to be used as mediators in disputes between employers and the State, demanding compliance with labor agreements.

The Association of State Workers (ATE) will also join the protest with a 36-hour strike starting at noon on Tuesday, October 29. The National Transportation Board, which included union representatives from various state sectors, questioned the current economic measures and rejected the increase in poverty.

In summary, the national transportation strike scheduled for October 30 will affect various services, while UTA will not join this measure but will carry out a bus strike the following day. Transport and state workers unite in the demand for better salary conditions and against current government policies.
