At the express instruction of Governor Claudio Vidal, through the ministries of Energy and Mining, Labor, Employment and Social Security, and Security, it is expected that the company's representatives will provide a comprehensive report on the corrective actions taken. This includes measures following the tragic events of April and the incidents that occurred in October.
In the meeting scheduled for noon on Monday, the 28th, it is expected that business leaders will present their work plans, outline the plans for the distribution network of treated and industrial water, report on ventilation systems inside the mine, and share the results of internal and external physical-chemical analyses of the water, among other important aspects.
The mining operator is expected to provide a detailed overview of its corrective actions and improvement plans, demonstrating a firm and transparent commitment to the safety and welfare of its workers and the environment.
