Detention of Two Dominicans for Cocaine Trafficking

Two Dominican nationality men were arrested in the Buenos Aires neighborhood of Constitución on charges of selling cocaine. The City Police and the Public Prosecutor's Office reported that agents from the Anti-Drug Division Zone IV carried out procedures in a kiosk and three apartments located on San Juan Avenue at 1200. During the operation, 518 grams of cocaine in compact pieces were seized, as well as items used for cutting and fractionating the drug.

The suspects, nicknamed "the pastor" and his accomplice, both 33 years old, were detained and charged with the crime of drug trafficking, with preventive detention requested. The operations were ordered by the Criminal, Contraventional and Minor Offenses Court 23, under Norberto Circo, and the Specialized Prosecutor's Unit for Crimes Related to Drugs (UFEIDE) of Cecilia Martín.

The officers also found half a kilo of cocaine in total during the actions. Additionally, as part of the operation, immigration personnel conducted an inspection that resulted in the identification of 22 people, 11 of them foreigners, and the drafting of four records for Irregular Immigration Situation.
