The manager of a hotel in Corrientes province was found dead, and her ex-boyfriend has been detained. The case is being investigated as a possible femicide. On Wednesday night, a 20-year-old woman, Gabriela Patricia Luca, was found dead at the Flamenco motel, located at kilometer 173 of National Route 16. Her ex-boyfriend, 23, was with her and told police that the woman had sent him a message saying she was going to commit suicide after their sudden breakup. He stated that he found her in one of the rooms and, in an attempt to resuscitate her, moved her to the hotel's common area, where her death was confirmed. The prosecutor on duty, César Luis Collado, was called to the scene and immediately ordered the activation of the femicide protocol and the young man's detention. Judicial authorities are awaiting the results of forensic examinations to determine the exact cause of death.
