The national government, through the Minister of Human Capital, Sandra Pettovello, targeted the government of Formosa with a letter. The conflict erupted after the viralization of a video showing a group of elementary school students interviewing Governor Gildo Insfrán. The Ministry of National Education sent a formal complaint to the Minister of Culture and Education of Formosa, Julio René Araoz, demanding details about what happened at EPEP N° 548 "Prof. Rodolfo Reynaldo Benítez". According to the official complaint, the children's questions and comments showed a "marked propaganda load" aimed at exalting the figure of the provincial governor. The national ministry was blunt: using the school environment to praise incumbent authorities is an act of "institutional gravity." In its presentation, Capital Humano stated that this type of practice violates the principle of neutrality that must govern in schools and seriously compromises the freedom of conscience of students. To justify the summons, the government appealed to a legal arsenal that includes a violation of the Constitution in its articles 14 and 75 (clauses 19 and 22) on the right to teach and learn. The ministry also asked to know what sanctioning mechanisms Formosa has for cases of indoctrination and what protocols it will apply to guarantee pluralism in classrooms. The provincial ministry will have to inform whether it has initiated an investigation to clarify the facts and what measures will be taken against the school authorities who allowed or organized the activity.
