María Noguera and José Peña, parents of Loan, make a special plea to the Justice and the accused more than 20 months after the child's disappearance. They expressed the need for 'the trial to take place as soon as possible,' as for them, the seven accused 'will speak' there. María stated: 'If the trial starts in October, it is eight more months in which we still do not know what happened, and we believe that it is in the debate where they will speak, which is why we ask that it be as soon as possible.' The request to elevate the case to trial occurred at the beginning of June last year, and since then, the hope for a prompt resolution has become a long journey in which the parents and siblings still cannot find out what happened on that June 13, 2024, and what is the role of each of the accused. At the trial, 17 defendants will be judged, seven corresponding to the main cause for the abduction and concealment: Laudelina Peña, Walter Maciel, Victoria Caillava, Carlos Pérez, Mónica Millapi, Antonio Benítez, and Daniel Ramírez. 'We requested an advancement to trial, but it is still not known when it will be held; supposedly, in a few days, there will be some news,' highlighted María. In this context, she pointed out that in this trial there is 'much to discuss' and that for them it is necessary to be able to know 'where he is and in what condition,' so they insist on the need for an immediate answer. Another fact that became known from the hearing is that at the beginning, it was rejected that the parents wear t-shirts with the child's face, but after a complaint from the prosecution, it was allowed to be displayed without any problems: 'The prosecutor told us that for the trial they will allow it after the request.' When asked how they think the moment will be when they face the accused of the main cause in the trial, José reflected and said that he hopes it will be 'calm' and with 'news of what happened, what they did, and where' his son is. 'We need everything to end already and for Loan to be here with us,' concluded José.
