Two criminals were arrested in the last few hours as responsible for the murder of a former member of the Federal Police (PFA), committed this week in the town of Merlo, in the western conurbation. They are Facundo Canosa, 21, and another minor, 17, detained as part of a series of raids carried out this Friday, and accused of the crime of 'aggravated homicide.' Last Tuesday, Julio César Reyes, 58, was shot by both young men in an apparent attempt to rob his vehicle, and a shot hit him in the head, so he was taken to a hospital in the area, although he died a few hours later. According to Noticias Argentinas agency, and after the investigation tasks, it was established that the Fiat Argo used by the attackers was stolen, and that it was abandoned by the thieves in the town of Ituzaingó, when they decided to continue on foot. Finally, the two young criminals were arrested after confirming their presence at their homes in that locality.
