In the Salta locality of Apolinario Saravia, a man has been sentenced to six months of conditional imprisonment for sexually abusing a woman in a store. According to the Public Prosecutor's Office, the attack occurred on September 4th in a business on the corners of Güemes and Alberdi streets. The victim was attending to customers when the perpetrator entered the store, inquired about the price of an item, and, positioning himself behind the employee, touched her without her consent. The man purchased the product and left the premises. The owner then offered the security camera footage, which proved crucial for the investigation as it corroborated the improper contact and the victim's reaction. During the abbreviated trial, the man acknowledged his responsibility after the incorporation of various testimonies, psychological reports, and other material of interest to the investigation. Consequently, he was declared criminally responsible for the crime of simple sexual abuse. Judge Héctor Sebastián Guzmán imposed the sentence of six months of conditional imprisonment, along with rules of conduct.
