The Municipality of La Matanza has deployed a new network of five monitoring centers across the district, integrating them into a central security system. This is part of a large-scale plan that includes over 5,000 4K cameras, 1,200 safe stops, and 40 new patrol cars for the police.

The Municipality of La Matanza has launched new Monitoring Centers on public roads as part of its comprehensive security plan, with technology integrated into the district's central system. According to the Argentine News Agency, the posts are operational in San Justo, Gregorio de Laferrere, González Catán, Virrey del Pino, and Rafael Castillo, connected to the Municipal Operations and Monitoring Center (COM) for 24-hour surveillance and emergency response. The COM, as detailed in the publication, operates a network of over 5,000 4K cameras, in addition to 1,200 safe stops, more than 100 safe points, and a digital ring with license plate readers, focused on prevention and coordination with police forces. In parallel, the Municipality reported the incorporation of 40 new patrol vehicles handed over to the Buenos Aires Provincial Police and recalled previous and planned deliveries: 90 vehicles in the last months of 2025 and another 60 announced for the coming days. The official communication also listed the cumulative deployment: 390 vehicles to patrol 200 zones, 15,000 neighborhood alarms, over 3,000 cameras, 700 safe stops, and the incorporation of bases and special forces personnel in the district.
